Emma's Biography...

Emma started singing in her home town of Blackpool following in her Mum's footsteps as a professional entertainer and fulfilling her childhood ambition of being a singer.

Her first summer season was on the South Pier in Blackpool singing and dancing in the 'Frank Carson Laughter Show'.

Since then Emma has performed in a host of summer season shows appearing alongside some of the UK's top artistes including Ken Dodd, Jimmy Cricket, Jim Davidson and The Grumbleweeds.

 

Emma is a versatile Pantomime principal and has appeared in a variety of roles including Aladdin and Cinderella.

For 2 years she was resident guest vocalist with Page and Moy cruises on the Ocean Majesty and Bolero cruise ships.

 She has also appeared in cabaret for many American audiences receiving wide acclaim for her performance.

 

Emma was the first 'singing ringmistress' in the UK. She worked for 5 consecutive years as the lead singer in the Big Top Show at Chessington World of Adventures followed by Christmas contracts with Chipperfields Circus at The Point in Dublin and Gerry Cottle's Circus at Wembley. This led to Emma touring for 6 years in the Cottle and Austen Electric Circus as Singer/Presenter. Further Christmas productions followed at The Roundhouse Theatre, Camden and at Alexandra Palace, London.

 

Emma particularly enjoys Cabaret and her performances have proved to be very successful, appearing in front of audiences of all ages. Her style and presentation make her especially suitable for corporate functions and she has appeared in venues up and down the UK, including the Grosvenor House Hotel, Langham Hilton, Criterion Restaurant, RAC Pall Mall and The Belfry. She is always in demand on the Hotel and Holiday Park circuit, working extensively for Britannia and Shearings hotels, and is also a favourite entertainer at all major civic events in Leeds.
